Brandi Roxanne Davis

Brandi Davis was born in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, and then moved to Los Angeles, California where she stayed for most of her upbringing. From the age of 3, Brandi was immersed into dance classes, which then lead to a performance career by the age of 7. She was featured in several dance companies such as American Youth Express, and Chips N Salsa Dance Company. By the age of 16, she was the assistant musical theater director, and head of the dance department at The Performer's Academy in Laguna Hills. Upon high school graduation, Brandi moved to Santa Barbara to attend The University of California, Santa Barbara, where she earned a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology with a minor in Exercise and Sports Science. She continued her work in dance at Arthur Murray Dance Studio, where she was a competitive ballroom dancer and instructor.

Two worlds combined when Brandi's love for movement, dance and health, took her into group fitness. Upon graduation from UCSB, Brandi was hired at the UCSB as a group fitness instructor. She earned multiple certifications such as Schwinn cycling, Bodypump, Group Power, Zumba, and kickboxing. She quickly earned recognition with both the local newspaper, The Independent, and the local news station, KEYT, for her successful group classes. In an effort to build stronger relationships and make a bigger difference in the lives of her students, she then went on to earn her personal training license from the National Academy of Sports Medicine. After several months of internships and learning from multiple mentors, Brandi was hired as personal trainer and group fitness instructor at Spectrum Athletic Club. In addition, she was also hired on with Body BootcampSb as a boot camp instructor and marathon coach. Brandi used her time at Spectrum and Body Bootcamp to learn from the best in the industry. She attended, and still attends multiple workshops, such as The IDEA WORLD FITNESS CONVENTION, each year to stay current with the ever changing fitness industry.

In 2009, Brandi launched her own company where she could take her work into her own hands. BDFitlife, is a company that teaches life fitness. It strives to take people to their goals in a healthy, sustainable, and fun way. Brandi has seen tremendous growth and success in the business in the last 3 years, and hopes to see even more in the near future.

Brandi has recently earned her Personal Chef Certificate from Santa Barbara City College, and is currently working on a Masters Degree in Dietetics. Her most recent accomplishment to date would be that she has been named The Personal Trainer of Santa Barbara in 2012 by Fitness Magazine.
